Announcing the Loot.Bet Hotshot Series Highlights Competition!

Celebrating THE VERY BEST OF THE HOTSHOT SERIES

Over the past year, we’ve collected a TON of epic plays, ninja defusals and arguably some epic fails from our participating teams in the Hotshot Series. From pros to newbies on the scene, they’ve all pulled off some amazing stuff, and we’d like YOU to bring those to life!

For the first time ever, we’re announcing the Loot.Bet Hotshot Series Highlight Competition, where you can help us show the world what our teams are capable of, while making some sweet $$$ in the progress and showing off your work to hundreds of thousands of people. Here’s the lo-down:

PRIZE

We’re starting off with a minimum of $100 to the winning entry, and raising the prize by $25 for each valid entry we get. That means that if we get 4 videos, that’s an extra $100 that goes toward the winning entry.

We’ll be capping off our total prize money at $600, meaning that we need at least 20 videos to reach the amount.

In addition to the prize money, we’ll also play your video during each ad break of the Hotshot Series, as well as the potential to commission more videos in the near future.

How TO PARTICIPATE

Upload your video to Vimeo, Youtube, or other and drop us a link to info@qfi.re with the subject line: Hotshot Series Highlights Competition.

We’ll only consider 1 entry as valid per participant, so if you make more than 1 video, you can let us know which one you’d like as the “official” entry.

DEADLINE

The competition closes on Sunday 30th June at 11.59pm CEST. We will not consider other entries after that time, unless we write in advance on this website about an extension. We will update this post if that is the case.

Content

The content of the video must be taken from past recordings of the Hotshot Series on our Twitch.tv stream (twitch.tv/quickfire / twitch.tv/quickfire_b), or from replays downloaded from our HLTV tournament pages:

The content itself can focus on one particular team, or can be a selection of the best plays/fails from the tournaments. You can include more than 1 Season in the video, for example taking a good play from both Season 1 and Season 3, and putting them in the same video. The content also shouldn’t feature plays from other tournaments, just the Hotshot Series.

LENGTH

The length of the video should be longer than 1 minute 30 seconds, and shorter than 2 minutes, including all intros/outros.

FINE PRINT

  • By submitting your entry, you are automatically giving us permission to use your video in our content.
  • The competition requires a minimum of 2 videos to be valid. We reserve the right to cancel the competition if this quota is not met.
  • We only accept 1 entry per participant.
  • The competition closes on Sunday 30th June at 11.59pm CEST
  • Total prize money will be capped at $600, or 20 videos.

If you’d like more information, speak to us on our Facebook page, Twitter page, or send us an email on info@qfi.re. Thanks!
